PostLoom Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PostLoom ("Service"), operated by PostLoom ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

PostLoom is an AI-powered content repurposing platform that converts user-provided content into formatted posts for multiple social media platforms. The Service is provided on a subscription and free-tier basis as described on our pricing page.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use PostLoom. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
One account per person or entity. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits is prohibited.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PostLoom to:

Generate content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or threatening toward any person or group
Reproduce copyrighted material you do not own or have rights to repurpose
Create spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or deceptive content
Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
Circumvent usage limits, billing, or access controls
Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service without written permission

5. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you submit to PostLoom ("Input Content") and all content generated for you ("Output Content"). By submitting Input Content, you grant PostLoom a limited, non-exclusive license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not sell, share, or train AI models on your content.

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to submit your Input Content and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights.

6. AI-Generated Content

Output Content is generated by AI and may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your intended purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any Output Content before publishing or distributing it. PostLoom does not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or fitness of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.

7. Subscription and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe, our payment processor.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
You may cancel at any time through your account Settings → Manage Billing.
No refunds are issued for partial months or unused repurposes, except where required by law.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
Free plan usage is limited to 5 repurposes per month and may be modified at any time.

8. Texas Sales Tax

PostLoom is based in Texas. Under Texas law, certain digital services and SaaS products are subject to sales tax. Approximately 80% of each subscription price may be subject to Texas sales tax, which will be calculated and collected at checkout where applicable. Tax collection is handled automatically by Stripe Tax.

9. Intellectual Property

The PostLoom name, logo, website design, and underlying software are owned by PostLoom and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our intellectual property without written permission.

10. Privacy

Your use of PostLoom is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POSTLOOM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PostLoom and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to PostLoom at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time through Settings → Delete my account.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation by contacting us at [email protected]. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Texas under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
